So, the new year has just started. It's hard to believe we are already 3 full weeks into 2010!! I'm sure that many of us decided to resolve to eat better and become healthier, starting January 3rd of course. Can't eat healthy on January 1st or 2nd!
For those of us who have not already blown their healthy eating resolution (full admission - mine lasted four days until I came upon some delicious soft tacos and cheese dip), here are some tips that might be of some help in the future. Nothing groundbreaking here - just smart eating tips! Also, there's a recipe at the bottom from our very own Cindy Walker, who despite the disadvantage of being a Bulldog fan, is an excellent cook. Thanks Cindy!

Limit sugary food, salt and refined-grain products (white bread, pasta)
Eat early, eat often – starting your day with a healthy breakfast can jumpstart your metabolism. Also eating small, healthy meals throughout the day can keep your metabolism going and ward off snack attacks.
